HOW TO BUILD A GLITCHY SOUNDTRACK
SPRUNKE.MSI Final Update features 26 sound layers covering beats, melodies, voices, and effects, giving plenty of combinations to explore. You’ll drag an icon onto one of the seven gray avatars to add its sound to the mix. As new layers appear, the characters react with flickering animations and digital effects. Different combinations can create anything from strange rhythms to heavily distorted soundscapes. The goal is not to follow a fixed musical pattern. Instead, experiment with different sounds, remove layers, and rebuild the track until the combination feels interesting.
What Happens in Horror Mode?
To unlock Horror Mode, you need to pay attention to the character Black. After you have the other characters, you proceed to drop Black. Immediately, the screen will turn into a red background of static, and a startling jumpscare will erupt. When this mode is activated, the game completely changes its appearance and sound:
- Horror character design (Phase 2 & Phase 3): The characters are no longer lifeless gray figures but are horrifyingly distorted.
- Musical atmosphere: Instead of the digital glitch sounds of the regular mode, Horror Mode delivers chilling sound loops, a horror ambient soundtrack, and moans
